After the Flex Faceoff Round 2 we had so many questions about the way testing was conducted we new we needed to test Flex’s deceptive comparison methods!
Flex decided to go full frontal by leaving the competing brands of tools, Milwaukee, Dewalt and even Makita unpainted in all their glory for viewers to see during the tool comparisons.
Some viewers of the Flex faceoff did some digging and found out that the contractors running the test had been on various television shows as well as modeled for other tool manufacturers.
We attempted to re-create the testing apparatus used to test and compare Impact drivers. We prepared the impact drivers that would be used in the testing which included the Flex 1/4″ QUICK EJECT HEX IMPACT DRIVER WITH MULTI-MODE STACKED-LITHIUM KIT (FX1371A-1H) , Milwaukee tool M18 FUEL 1/4″ Hex Impact Driver (2853-20) ran with their M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion High Output 6.0Ah Battery Pack, and Dewalt 20-Volt MAX XR Cordless Brushless 3-Speed 1/4 in. Impact Driver, DCF840B 20V MAX 1/4 -in. Brushless Cordless Impact Driver, ATOMIC 20-Volt MAX Cordless Brushless Compact 1/4 in. Impact Driver (DCF850B). All Dewalt Impact Drivers were ran with both the 20-Volt MAX XR Premium Lithium-Ion 6.0Ah Battery Pack as well as their brand new 20-Volt MAX POWERSTACK Compact Battery (DCBP034). In this video we run multiple comparison tool tests to give you the best results, allowing tradespeople and contractors the information to make an informed decision.
Dewalt and Milwaukee Tool put Flex in their place!
