Bang for Your Buck – 3 Value-Based Remodeling Options

Value-based Philadelphia Remodeling Options

We’re always looking to help our clients stick to their budgets, but we also want to ensure they achieve their dreams for their homes. Even if your budget doesn’t allow for a large-scale project, there are plenty of smaller-scale options you can choose instead.

In this blog, check out three examples of value-based remodeling projects that allow you to achieve your goals but cost less than major overhauls!

Instead of a major kitchen remodel…go for a minor one with a big impact!

No worries if your budget doesn’t allow for a drastic kitchen upgrade. Rather than installing all new appliances, flooring, custom lighting, and countertops, opt for switching out cabinet fronts and hardware, adding a fresh coat of paint to the walls, and redoing the lighting. Adding a backsplash is another small-scale project that really changes the tone of the room!

By sticking to a minor kitchen remodeling project, you could recoup 83% of your investment later on.

Instead of a major bathroom remodel…stick to a few visible upgrades!

You don’t need a new sink, tub, toilet, and flooring to give your bathroom’s look a refresh.

Instead, homeowners on a limited budget can stick to smaller-scale projects, such as switching out showerheads and sink fixtures for new ones. You might also replace old caulk and grout, install a new light fixture, or put in a better ventilation fan. These are small ways to breathe new life into the room without spending more than you’re comfortable.

Instead of adding a room…find new ways to maximize the ones you have!

Needing more room is a common problem among homeowners, especially those with growing families! Thankfully, there are ways to create more space that are far more cost-effective than building a room addition.

A couple of examples include eliminating closets or knocking down walls, which can often create more usable space instantly. These remodeling options cost significantly less than adding a whole new room, but definitely add to functionality. The key is to partner with a professional who knows how best to put your existing architecture to work.

Do you do floors too. I am on a budget but would like a refresh in the bathrooms and the kitchen just needs something more.
